But a large proportion remain undiagnosed and untreated, putting up with symptoms that slowly chip away at their quality of life. Testosterone deficiency is even more common for men with type 2 diabetes.

“Testosterone deficiency often goes undiagnosed or misdiagnosed as something else, or simply 'getting older' – even by healthcare professionals.
Unless testing is performed, it's hard to know whether low testosterone levels are contributing to these symptoms.”

Most patients start to feel the positive effects of TRT in the first few months, but it can take several months to feel the full impact.
Like any medication, TRT comes with some risk of side effects, and your doctor will discuss these with you during your consultation. We’ll carefully monitor your experience with TRT throughout your treatment, and are always on hand to help if you do start experiencing negative side effects.
Our TRT plans start from just £89 per month, with costs based only on your specific treatment and dosage — both personalised to suit you. You’ll get quarterly monitoring blood tests, travel letters, and unlimited clinical support included. We review your treatment every three months to make sure you’re always on the best plan for your health. It’s pay-as-you-go, so if your medication or dosage changes, your costs adjust fairly — no hidden fees, no long contracts, and you’re always in control.
Our blood test gives us a comprehensive snapshot of your general health. As well as testing your total level of testosterone, our blood test checks your level of free testosterone, and other relevant hormone or hormone-related markers. It also looks at your cholesterol, kidney function, and prostate health, among other general health factors.
With your TRT subscription, you’ll get your personalised treatment delivered to your door, as well as a blood test every three months to check in on your progress and monitor key numbers. You’ll have an annual consultation with your specialist, but they’re on hand throughout your treatment to answer your questions. You can easily review your blood tests and treatment progress anytime within your Ted’s Health portal.
It’s up to you. We’re happy to share your results and our notes with your GP, but we’ll only do so if you request this.
